About the Author
Diane Quast is a former journalist and marketing executive who became a stay-at-home mom after the birth of her child. After her own baby shower, Diane's talent for writing creative and memorable thank you notes resurfaced when she received thank you notes for the ones she mailed to her family and friends. She first received thank you notes after her bridal shower and wedding. Realizing that many soon-to-be mothers needed the time saving assistance of model thank you notes, Diane decided to write The Pregnant Pen during the only free time she had - during her daughter's nap time, about two hours every day.

In addition to expectant moms, Diane knows first hand that many brides need the time saving assistance of model thank you notes. She wrote Wedding Words because, “Wedding thank you note books currently for sale are totally out dated. The sample thank you notes are for items that I would never register for, nor do the books assist with registering for gifts or how to use the internet to help with wedding activities.” Wedding Words assists brides handle the many gift giving events the precede the wedding, and includes more than 125 sample thank you notes for items that one could expect to receive at an engagement party, bridal shower, bachelorette party, work event and of course – the wedding.
